Knockout
The first round of the Leslie Dodds Cup has a strict – but generous – deadline of the 13th November, eight weeks from the Friday after the AGM.
Winners in round one play in the Leslie Dodds Cup, losers in the Gainsborough Plate. Both events are drawn at the completion of the initial round.
League
- Combined cross tables for all divisions
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
- Division Four
- Division Five
- Division Six
With 31 teams, to implement the AGM agreement to have no more than six teams in a division, we have reshaped 2019's five-division structure to one of six. More divisions has necessitated redistributing teams and we believe our procedure is fair; this is a schematic view.
New 1 | New 2 | New 3 | New 4 | New 5 | New 6 |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
D1 1-4 | D1 5-6 | ||||
D2 1-2 | D2 3-4 | D2 5-6 | |||
D3 1 | D3 2-3 | D3 4-5 | D3 6 | ||
D4 1 | D4 2-3 | D4 4-5 | D4 6 | ||
D5 1 | D5 2 | D5 4-6 | |||
NE1 | NE2 |
Where 'D number' denotes the division and finishing position in last year's League; 'NE' our two new teams and the team withdrawing is 'D5 3'.
In the stretching out of the divisions, the winners of Divs 3 & 4 (also Div 5 on the upside) have moved closer to the top division. The 2nd and 3rd finishers are no nearer the top, but the division they're in is now further from the bottom. Teams finishing 4th and 5th are no farther from the bottom but a division more distant from the top and lastly, the 6ths are now one division closer to the bottom.
