League

21st August: Division Two Reduced to Five Teams

Lavender Blue has withdrawn from the League.

12th August: First Draft

We again expect 24 teams but there is change: welcome afresh Southeasterlies and also RAC Speed Six, merged from RAC Bentley and RAC Seven.

The two Division Threes are formed from last year's Three and Four. Matches will be arranged under an online-default in all but Three Black which where matches default to face-to-face play. We emphasise that these are defaults; captains are free to agree to play online or F2F in any division.

This is a schematic view of the changes.

The numbers represent the finishing position in last year's division (reading horizontally) and locate that team in the new vertical divisions.

Knockout

The first round of the Leslie Dodds Cup has a strict – but generous – deadline of the 7th November, nine whole weeks from the Friday after the AGM.

Winners in round one play in the Leslie Dodds Cup, losers in the Gainsborough Plate. Both events are drawn at the completion of the initial round.
