New Season Update
A personal thanks to all captains for prompt replies to registration invitations. I had thought the AGM was 10 days later and the pre-season was correspondingly shorter than previous but, if anything, it has run more smoothly.
The 2018-19 League Season will be one team larger than last year: TKFH have returned, there is a new RAC team, 'Spitfire' but we have lost the National Audit Office who, despite winning Division Five last year, can no longer raise a team.
The draw for the knockout is now available from left.

New Season!
AGM: Wednesday 5th September, 6:15pm at Room 3, Church House Westminster
See this map [PDF]. Please come to the North Door entrance in Great Smith Street as the Dean's Yard entrance shuts at 6:00pm.
Agenda and other documentation to follow.
The AGM will be followed by a captains' meeting to arrange fixtures.
League and Knockout
The draft divisions are linked from left and is broadly the result of 'two up, two down' from last year's standings. We are pleased to welcome a new team, RAC Spitfire, and to balance the divisions, some thirds have been promoted.
The first-round draw for the Cup will be made closer to the AGM when there is more confidence in the number of teams competing.
SURDOC
The teams-of-four event is on Tuesday, 2nd October 2018, 6:00pm at the Young Chelsea Bridge Club, 54 Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush, London, W12 8HA. See the full details.
Registration for 2018-2019
Team entries are managed online via this website. Captains have been sent an email detailing how to access and confirm/amend all their team's details – entry to League/KO/SURDOC, contact information, line-ups.
If your captain is away or has stood down, please get in touch and you'll be sent a code to access your team's details. At the very least we need you to press the button and confirm you are entering again this year.
Note:
- Entry for KO and League is online only via the New Season Entries link on the left.
- New teams will be sent a code to enter.
- There is no change in the cost of participating in the League or knockouts.

Knockout Draws
The draws for the Leslie Dodds Cup (round-one winners) and Gainsborough Plate (others) have now been made and are available from the left. There should be 13 teams in each – and consequently three byes – but there are also three yet-to-be-played round-one fixtures (or perhaps, yet-to-be-reported?). Naming and shaming:
RAC Rolls Royce v Habeas CorpusStock Exchange 'B' v KPMG BlueButtons 'C' v Livesey
These have all been resolved. Livesey have withdrawn from the Plate.
Those teams are facing a double-default if they do not play before 8-Dec-2017.
The play-by date for round-two remains at 12-Jan-2018. Arguably it might be put back due to recent troubles (and consequent late draw) but as there are only five matches in each event, I have left it unchanged.

Service Update (4)
Literally minutes after writing the text below I had another email from Mark Newton:
More changes to your web server
I am still 'messing about' I got the sizing of the virtual hard disc wrong so am having to make a copy of the server but will more disk space.
This means can you leave of any updating until after the weekend please?
Sorry for all this.
Needless to say, that erased my update but I reapplied the local version. Draw for knockouts tomorrow, Tuesday (all being well).

Service Update (3)
It's been a frustrating period with the website intermettently unavailable for sometimes, days. I hope that is now at an end. After being moved to a temprary server (see below) it came to light it too was not in good health. Today I received the following update:
New server installed
I have copied the old server across over night and will be switching over to the new one soon. If you have uploaded any new information overnight or this morning, this will be lost in the transfer. Just re upload the changes and all should be fine. None of your setting should change.
There will be a small amount of downtime as the IP addresses are moved.

MD Ecats Ltd
I will make the draw (now overdue) for the knockouts for Monday 27th November.
31-October-2017
Service Update (2)
The whole site was down from about 6pm yesterday until just before noon.
30-October-2017
Service Update
The mail server was not working properly and though submitting results did not cause an error and did redirect to the 'mail sent' page, no confirmation mail was received. At least until an hour or so ago when the stream was 'unblocked'.
Understandably there were duplicates as captains tried again. I've checked these and most were faithful copies but where there were discrepancies in line-ups, I've gone for the latest. Please feel free to correct if the scorecard is wrong.

Service Announcement
The delay in posting the SURDOC result was due to a malicious attack on our host's servers affecting multiple sites. We haven't been inconvenienced other than being unable to update this week until now. It is not out of the question that we might see some teething problems having been moved to a clean server.
