Registration for 2015-2016

Team entries are managed online via this website. Captains have been sent an email detailing how to access and confirm/amend all their team's details – entry to league/KO/SURDOC, contact information, line-ups.

If your captain is away or has stood down, please get in touch and you'll be sent a code to access your team's details. At the very least we need you to press the button and confirm you are entering again this year.

The Masterpoint awards for 2013-14 have just been made.

I'm very sorry this is woefully late. I usually do it in Dec/Jan but I came down with a winter lurgi and, once I'd missed the 'MP year' I rather let it slide.

The current submission process for results and masterpoints is done online (previously we sent the EBU a text file, previously we had paper slips). However the club system isn't designed for Leagues and to make it award the right MPs, the file is labelled as an 'individual' event – and that's how it will be appear on everyone's membership record. The 'results' also look different because there are no scores – everyone got zero. It won't touch NGS in any way.

Lastly MPs will be credited on the EBU's 'monthly run', usually around 10th of the month. Let's hope it all works.

Leslie Dodds & Gainsborough Plate – Round Two

The draws for both knock-outs has been made. There are two unplayed matches from Round One and, as luck would have it, they are drawn against each other in the next round of both the Cup and the Plate (honest, that's just the way it fell). However that may make the uncertainty easier to contain.

Both events linked from the left. On the draw pages, please use the high-lighted brace ('}') to enter your results. (Outstanding Round One matches can submit via either draw or that for Round One.)

Update on Mudlark

As expected the start of the new season brings not inconsiderable pressure on venues. We have promoted the Mudlark on the South Bank but there are a few caveats, Peter Cogliatti offers his services as a booking agent, he writes:

The manager is not always there and does not want the pub bombarded with phone calls. Anyone wishing to play there contact me, , by email or telephone (07973 174096) by the Wednesday prior to the match to check availability and make a booking: I will confirm with the pub.

The venue is satisfactory and we had two matches there on Monday and they worked, but because of the configuration two is probably the maximum.

December is likely to be more difficult as they are likely to get other bookings, though Monday is usually quiet.
